Episode 5: Blending British and Japanese Influences

Episode 5: Blending British and Japanese Influences

In this episode, we're excited to have Jade from MASATO JONES, to share how their fashion brand beautifully fuses British and Japanese cultural influences into its designs.

The founder and head designer, Masato Jones was born in Saitama near Tokyo, Japan. He founded his own label in 2011 after graduating from University of the Arts London. The brand specialises in bespoke garments for both men and women, along with a curated selection of Japanese accessories. Their walk-in store is located at Thorntons Arcade in Leeds.

Jade, one of the managing directors of the brand, discusses how Gohobi matches Masato Jones’s business line and how Masato gets his inspiration for his art.
